Our Volunteer Branches support RSPCA NSW by being able to play a vital part in the rehoming process of animals in various locations in NSW. Being 100% volunteer run, our volunteer branches rely on foster care assistance to house their animals while they wait for adoption, as they have no permanent adoption facility

You’ll be part of the Community Crew team and participating in a range of different activities, including (but not limited to!) market stalls, events, barbeques, adoption events, and corporate events. These events will mostly be on the weekends, but there may be some weekday events as well.

Jobs can include anything from general maintenance around the centre to working in the grounds doing mowing, whipper snipping, watering to keep our grounds looking good

Fund Raising and Raffle Sales is a voluntary position for Friends of the Pound (Tweed) Inc. The role is to raise funds for our organisation via raffle sales in shopping malls. The money raised will be used in the feeding and care of the dogs and cats being housed with Friends of the Pound.

We desperately need help on any day of the week, we need people to clean the dog yards, clean and fill their water buckets, clean their bowls, sweep and mop their kennels and pick up the poop in their yards including their splash pools. Interacting with the dogs is compulsory, they love the time we spend with them.

We desperately need help everyday of the week including week-ends, so pick your day or days, we need people to clean the catteries. Every 5 hours earns you 5 points towards Job Seeker. You need to feed and clean their areas including litter trays, floors, benches, food and water bowls. Cuddling is compulsory!

If we have cats and cats in the isolation area we will need a person to feed and clean their area as well. cuddling is compulsory

We currently require Volunteer Foster Carers' to open their homes to cats & kittens, to give them a home while we search for their forever homes! If you have a love of cats and a spare room, this could be the purr-fect opportunity to help us out!

Help the animals at Leaning Tree Equine & Animal Experience by looking after the 20-acre property out here in Greenough. Our volunteers are involved in the maintenance of the farmland and other activity. Your time makes a huge difference to how the animals feel, their health, and interact.
