About Australia New Zealand Gynaecological Oncology Group

The Australia New Zealand Gynaecological Oncology Group (ANZGOG) is the national gynaecological cancer research group. We design and conduct gynaecological cancer clinical trials, translating the results into everyday practice and collaborate with similar groups internationally.

Our research is conducted in over 50 hospitals in Australia and New Zealand. Since 2000 we have conducted 20 clinical trials, recruited 2,500 patients to take part in these trials and collaborated on research locally and globally. We have raised $12 million in government grants to support the operation of these trials.

ANZGOG has more than 680 members who are surgeons, physicians, radiotherapists, oncology nurses, research managers, pure scientists, cancer survivors and allied therapists.
