About SA Ambulance Service

SA Ambulance Service (SAAS) provides emergency medical assistance, treatment and transport, non-urgent patient transport and high-quality patient care to the people of South Australia.

In regional SA more than 1400 volunteers make up a network of over 70 ambulance volunteer teams.

SAAS volunteers are a diverse group of people who commit their time to caring and helping their local community. In return they gain self-confidence and decision-making skills in a friendly team environment. If you are passionate about your community, team-oriented, want to stay active, make new friends and learn life skills, we want to hear from you.

SA Ambulance Service is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO Code 0264). You will receive free training up to a Certificate IV in Health Care (HLT41120).
