Social support volunteering is a great way to help make a real difference in people’s lives and help some of our vulnerable neighbours and community members to have a more active and safe social life. If you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and love helping people to connect with their community, this might be for you!
If you are able to provide transport for our Commonwealth Home and Community Support Program clients the role will involve assisting frail aged to do their shopping. Must have a current driver's licence, reliable vehicle with comprehensive car insurance. Mileage reimbursement provided. As a requirement of this role volunteers must undergo a National Police Check which is arranged and covered by Cumberland Council.
Reliable vehicle, comprehensive vehicle insurance and full driver's licence.
