Orange Sky Laundry is a not-for-profit organisation providing free mobile laundry and shower services to people who are homeless. Through a network of 12 vans outfitted with showers/commercial washing machines and dryers, we go to over 72 locations across Australia where the needs of our friends on the street are greatest. Orange Sky Laundry was founded in July 2014 by friends Lucas Patchett and Nicholas Marchesi. Our organisation comprises seven board members, 14 employees and over 650 amazing volunteers, all with diverse skills and life experiences. We share a common goal of connecting our friends on the street with the community. Our mission is to provide a platform for conversations, volunteering and opportunities for our friends on the street through a free mobile laundry worldwide!
