About this opportunity
Mount Eliza Neighbourhood House is a Neighborhood House that focuses on the whole community run by the community and bridges the gap between the ages by facilitating community lunches and various groups in a friendly, inclusive and supported environment.
They are looking for a volunteer with previous cookery experience or training to prepare morning tea, lunch and dessert on a Monday and Thursday for a long day adult activity program. This position is ideal for someone who is wanting some flexibility to be creative and really make this their own, someone who is looking to get experience to get into paid work, or looking to return to paid work within the food services industry. Or alternatively a creative and motivated home cook who wants the opportunity to have fun cooking for groups of 10-15 people. Also someone willing and interested in assisting participants to cook or teaching participants about cooking would be an advantage.
Lunch will be provided and parking is available.
National Police Certificate *.
- Food handling certitifcate or willingness to get one
