Clovelly Cottage Private Nursing HOme

Clovelly is an 83-bed facility in Boronia, 28 kilometres east of the Melbourne CBD, in the foothills of the Dandenong Ranges.

Clovelly is set on a large tree-lined block, with a landscaped garden and chairs at the front of the building and internal, sun-filled courtyards and lounge rooms offering television (including Foxtel), radio and books.

Residents are able to choose from a seasonal menu prepared by our onsite kitchen. Morning and afternoon tea and supper are provided. Visitors are encouraged at any time and tea and coffee making facilities are available, in central lounge rooms. A range of complementary health services are provided, while a hairdresser visits regularly to provide reasonably priced hair and beauty services. Clovelly also offers access to a qualified beauty and massage therapists and a stimulating activity program for residents.

Excellent nursing and medical services are provided with a broad range of visiting doctors supported by a gerontologist.The facility is in the midst of a major refurbishment that will further improve the facilities on offer. We will also add 48 beds. These will mainly be single rooms along with a small number of double rooms to cater for couples. We will also add a new kitchen and laundry, a secure dementia wing, two courtyards and a new front garden for residents to enjoy.
