About Western Suburbs Meals on Wheels (INC)
St Lucia Meals on Wheels is a not-for-profit organisation. Our primary service is to offer peace of mind to clients and their families through our daily "safe and well checks", at which time we deliver a nutritious meal. Meals on Wheels is the only service delivering meals to the Frail Aged that has the time to chat with clients, assist them with small tasks and or alert the family if the client can't be found or their condition has deteriorated. Our volunteers create a sense of community with our clients through our daily visits. Our service relieves the pressure on families and allows the client to live independently in their home.
