Velmas Pets As Therapy charity

Welcome to the wonderful world of Pets As Therapy!

We recruit, train and manage pets as therapy volunteers and their own pets to visit individuals and groups at hospitals, nursing homes, private homes and other health care facilities to offer physical, mental and social stimulation; friendship and cuddles with a furry friend!

We also offer Fun Family Prevent-A-Bite Paws Parties teaching families, groups and individuals how to safely and respectfully approach, meet and interact with dogs and pets.
