The Big Hello is the Salvation Army’s initiative to support and welcome Syrian & Iraqi refugees to Australia. As part of The Big Hello we are making welcome care-packs for each new arrival. We are looking for GROUPS of 4-8 to volunteer for 1/2 day at Bankstown. The first packing date will be Tuesday 7th June.
To put poverty on the election agenda, Oaktree will be running a Stakeout from the 24-26 June which will see hundreds of young Australians engage with the public about issues of poverty. We are looking for 100 young ambassadors to lead the movement to end poverty over this weekend.
