Support Worker

Drug & Alcohol Services Regular - more than 6 months Mount Duneed VIC

About this opportunity

This role would suit someone with good communication skills and who can help deliver and facilitate an existing group program to that of 15 participants. This role would also suit someone who has a passion to walk along side those struggling with life controlling issues such as drugs and alcohol.


Additional requirements

Covid-19 vaccination . Driver's Licence (C) . National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.

With the nature of this role, volunteers must at all times abstain from any alcohol or drugs while being a part of our mentoring program.
Good communication skills, high maturity level, and genuine interest to help people in need is expected.
Being an excellent role model is required.
A commitment to privacy and confidentiality is a must.
Having good communication skills, being non-judgemental attitude, and possessing a caring and supportive nature is essential for the role.
Previous experience in training small groups and or the AOD field would be an advantage but not essential as training options can be discussed.
Also a drivers licence.
