Gift Shop Volunteer
About this opportunity
This is a varied face-to-face customer service position, so we invite you to bring your winning smile to the role!
Duties:
- customer service
- using a till and eftpos machines
- stocktake
- pricing
- assisting the manager when required.
Shifts: Half day and full day shifts are available, 9am to 3pm, Monday to Friday. You must be able to commit to a regular shift per week for a minimum of 6 months.
Experience: While some retail experience is preferred, full training and support is provided.
Other requirements: There will be occasional lifting bending down and reaching. All volunteers will be required to undertake a Police Check and must be fully vaccinated.
Additional requirements
Covid-19 vaccination . National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.
Shop volunteers must be able to provide proof of Covid vaccination as we are based in a hospital setting. Must have good communication and customer service skills.
9.00am - 12noon, or 12noon - 3.00pm, or a full day (9am - 3pm) at least one or two days per week.
