About this opportunity
As Western Australia's leading hazard management agency, the Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) (Formerly The Fire and Emergency Services Authority of WA) performs a critical role coordinating emergency services for a range of natural disasters and emergency incidents threatening life and property. Volunteers have the opportunity to be involved in one or more of the following areas: the following Volunteer services: Fire and Rescue, State Emergency Services Bushfire and Marine Rescue. There are a number of roles within each service, both operational and non-operational.

DFES values the contribution of volunteers in making our community safer. These volunteers come from all walks of life and the diverse skills they provide help maintain and extend the State's emergency services
