Information and Referral Consultant
About this opportunity
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Branch Coordinator with organising the front desk and receiving clients.
- Assist the Branch Coordinator with booking appointments where appropriate. Statement of Duties:
- Answer calls and queries to provide information and referrals.
- Book appointments for the legal team from walk-in clients as well as from information and referral queries.
- Greet clients, take down their details and handle as appropriate.
- Receive payment for appointments booked by clients.
- Assist the Branch Coordinator with any other duties that are required.
- Report immediately any identified hazards to health or safety of volunteers or staff.
Additional requirements
Covid-19 vaccination . National Police Certificate *.
Demonstrated ability to utilise the Microsoft Office Suite.
Demonstrated computer literacy and adaptability.
Highly developed interpersonal skills.
Ability to come in for one specific day each week.
Demonstrated passion for helping others and working with the community.
Demonstrated ability to complete other tasks assigned by the Branch Coordinator.
Ability to show evidence of COVID-19 vaccination.

Time Required
1 day per week - Monday to Friday 9:00am to 1:00pm
