About Cahoots

Our mission at Cahoots is to create opportunities for children and young people with disability to develop friendships, skills and self-confidence.

Cahoots aim to provide meaningful recreation opportunities for our participants in a fun, safe, supportive environment. The participants we take on our camps and programs are sensational- unique, entertaining, caring, challenging, some sporty, some musical, which is why we need leaders (volunteers) with diverse personalities and interests as well! Join us for what could be the most challenging, and MOST rewarding week or weekend of your life!

Our participants range from 5 to 30 years in age, depending on the camp or program. Our Camp Leaders take responsibility for between 1 - 3 participants for the duration of camp or program. Cahoots Camps range in length from weekends to six days, and are at a variety of venues around WA. Experienced Facilitators oversee the camps and programs, and provide support to the volunteer team.

APPLICATIONS ARE NOW OPEN!!

Volunteers attend an introductory registration session face to face or will be sent a link for an online induction, Leaders will learn more about Cahoots and their duties as a leader.

Working with Children checks are required. We can assist the volunteers to gain these.

"Cahoots is such a great organisation and I am so appreciative. Being a single mother it was nice to have a break, but more importantly it was great to see my son enjoy himself in an environment where he could simply be himself and have fun"- K., mother of camper.
