for Marine Rescue NSW Tuggerah Lakes - Emergency Response
Provide admin support; filing; publications; general office support with fundraising role. As you feel you can contribute. Clients can attend Rescue Base 8am to 5pm on a weekend to speak to Greg or Stewart and check things out before applying.
Undertake training to become an accredited rescue crew member on Tuggerah Lakes. Involves boat handling and competent crew work. On watch weekends, usually once per month. Call-out in emergency. Times required: Sat/Sun 9am to 5pm.
Undertake training as accredited Radio Operator to man Rescue radio at our base. On watch weekends. Usually on watch once a month plus call-out in emergency. Times required: Saturday/Sunday 9am to 5pm.
Work as fundraiser to assist in raising funds to help operate rescue organisation. Raffles, BBQs plus other events as required. Can join in other Base activities. Two to three events per week on average. Times required: usually 8am to 4pm; or 9am to 4pm.

Maintaining and listening on a watch on marine radio at the rescue headquarters with a team of other radio operators.

Sorting of clothing, Hanging, Some ironing, Ticketing, Pricing, General housekeeping chores.
for SA State Emergency Service - Emergency Response
Provide emergency rescue response and support operations to incidents involving floods and storms.
Maintaining marine radio. Keep maintenance up to scratch and dust well so communication through radio is clear.
