Gardening Volunteer

About this opportunity

Trinder Park Aged Care Village prides itself on creating a welcoming and engaging environment for its residents, staff and volunteers. To help make this happen we need garden volunteers to assist with the weeding, watering, pruning and so on. You don't need to be a prize winning gardener, just a willingness to get in garden and a friendly disposition. Our staff and volunteers are working in the resident's home space so it is important that you have a respect for the principles of person centre and can respect and engage with residents as you garden. You will make a real difference to our resident's daily lives, ensuring they have beautiful and well maintained garden's to enjoy!

Additional requirements

Covid-19 vaccination . NDIS screening check .

Organisation can assist with any security checks which may be required.

Volunteers will be required to attend training prior to commencement.

Time Required

We are looking for up to 3 volunteers to work during regular weekday times
