Colony 47

Colony 47 is a not-for-profit organisation which delivers a range of services, including:
•housing assistance for people who are homeless or
whose housing is unstable or who are isolated as a
result of extreme poverty
•tenants needing financial assistance
•accommodation for young women and men who are homeless or
escaping family violence
•supported employment opportunities for people with
mental illness or people who have physical or
intellectual disabilities.
•services for young children and families who live in
disadvantaged communities
•counselling services for young people and their families
•services for the Aboriginal community (health and
employment services)
•training opportunities for apprentices and trainees
•help for people who are in prison or are exiting the
prison service.
