About St Vincent's Hospital
As a tertiary public healthcare service, St Vincent’s provides acute medical and surgical services, emergency and critical care, aged care, diagnostics, rehabilitation, allied health, mental health, palliative care and residential care. We work with a vast network of collaborative partners to deliver high quality treatment, teaching, education and research.
St Vincent’s Hospital Foundation draws on the fantastic support of community, businesses and charitable trusts to raise funds for areas of need across St Vincent's Hospital Melbourne. Each year, thousands of individuals and organisations give donations, grants and bequests to St Vincent’s for many reasons – in recognition of care they've received, in memoriam or celebration, or in support of particular appeals, departments or areas of medical research. The Foundation provides information, guidance and reassurance that all these donations are received and distributed to the areas our donors nominate. The Foundation Team also organises major fundraising events and assists community fundraisers to organise their own events and activities in support of the hospital.
