This short term project starts mid July 2015 involves being able to assist with the construction of a small nursery from salvage materials. The construction will house seedlings harvested from the community garden.
The idea of this project is it will assist in the development of the community garden being self sufficient by having propagated seedling available to grow within the garden and harvest and sell on to the community
This requires physical work to reclaim some garden beds that have become overgrown and in need of TLC. The aim of this project is to be able to grow seedlings that have been propagated by the Community Garden in the garden beds. The outcome will be the sale of these vegetables to eventually allow the Community Garden to be self sufficient
