Established in Cairns in 1992, JUTE Theatre Company is a regional theatre company driving the development, co-production, national and international touring of contemporary Australian plays.
Behind the scenes JUTE works non-stop to raise the voltage of creative excellence in our region. We invest in people, enabling them to tell their stories, providing mentoring, training and support for regional actors, directors, playwrights & independent producers.
