Mini Bus Driver for Homeless run
About this opportunity
The Avalon Centre is a small organisation run entirely by volunteers. The goal is to meet unmet needs and one of those is to provide clothing and bedding to the homeless. We go out regularly and distribute clothing to those who need it. If you are not able to make a weekly commitment we would welcome once a month or any hours you have available. As well as driving, there will also be a requirement to help the other volunteers with the distribution of clothing and interaction with our 'clients'. Additional requirements
Covid-19 vaccination . Driver's Licence (C) . National Police Certificate *. Working with Children Check *.
Sense of humour. Good communication skills. Empathy and caring nature. Experienced driver. Works well with a team.
Flexible but a few hours per month would be appreciated.
