Surf Museum Retail Sales and Attendant
About this opportunity
Tasks include to welcome visitors to the museum, attend to retail sales and take admission fees, answer phone enquiries, take messages as required, complete daily taking sheets. Experience with customer service is essential and using a cash register is preferred. May be required to keep the museum area in a neat and tidy presentation. You will be absorbing an insight into the surfing history of the Gold Coast. This position is ideal for people interested in surfing, history, the beach and museums.
This role is suitable for a people person who is able to communicate clearly, has basic maths, is friendly and honest. You will need the ability to follow the daily procedures at the museum.
Times required: 10am -1.00pm, 1.00pm-4pm Mon - Sun.
2 days may be able to be provided, times negotiated with the coordinator.
Volunteers are particularly required for weekends.
Additional requirements
Customer service, basic maths and cash register skills are required.
Proof of COVID-19 vaccinations in accordance with Government guidelines.
10am -1.00pm, 1.00pm-4pm Mon to Sun . Days negotiated with the coordinator. Weekends urgently required.
