About The Victorian Flagmarshalling Team Inc.
The Victorian Flagmarshalling Team Inc. is a group of over 200 volunteers who donate their time to provide trackside marshals at motor race meetings.
The team is made up of men and women aged 16 and over who use flags to communicate with drivers, while stationed at points around the race track. The flags warn drivers of approaching danger, cars overtaking, change to track surfaces, commence racing, stop racing, etc.
We are involved at all levels of track racing from club events to F1 Grand Prix. Our members are also welcome to join in events interstate including V8 rounds such as the Clipsal 500 and Bathurst 1000.
